WILD AND FREE BY THE SEA

TURNING PAIN INTO PURPOSE

LETTING GO OF THE PAST & EMBRACING THE WAVES AHEAD

Ok, time to get real...

We've all got stuff from the past clinging to us like seaweed. Letting go means cutting loose those old memories, grudges and regrets that weigh us down. It's about freeing ourselves from what no longer serves us, and making space for new experiences and happiness.

So, how do we do this? First off, you have to acknowledge what it is you are holding onto. Maybe it's a mistake you made, a relationship that went sour, or a missed business opportunity. Give yourself permission to feel those emotions, but don't unpack them and live there.

Next, practice forgiveness - not just for others, but for yourself too. Write it down, talk it out, or even scream into the ocean if you need to (one of my personal favourites). Then, focus on the present, and do this with mindfulness, beach walks, yoga, swimming, reading, whatever it is that brings you peace.

Why should you bother? Why do you need to let go? Well... holding onto your past can be like trying to swim with an anchor tide to your ankle. It keeps you stuck, and stops you from moving forward. Take it from me, bottling up hurt and anger, and feeling sorry for yourself will not change the situation or the outcome.

Letting go can lower your stress and anxiety levels, boost your mood, and open up new opportunities. It's like trading in a stormy day for a sunny one! It will also leave you with more energy to chase your dreams, connect with loved ones, and enjoy life's little pleasures.

Let go of that old baggage, breathe in some salty air, and get ready to ride the waves of your present. The future is bright, the future is sunshine...

With gratitude,

Natalia x
